How is “warmth” calculated?

Warmth is a 1–5 score you set per contact, adjusted over time by recent interactions logged in Orbit or synced from Gmail. Closer warmth means a closer orbit ring in the visualization.

How do nudges work?

You set a target cadence per relationship type (mentors monthly, close friends every two weeks, and so on). When someone drifts past their cadence, Orbit surfaces them at the top of your dashboard — no email spam, no red badges.

Does Orbit integrate with Gmail?

Yes. Connect your Google account and Orbit will match contacts to email threads so your last-touchpoint stays accurate without manual logging. Only metadata (sender, recipient, timestamp, subject) is read — message bodies stay in Gmail.

How does the AI drafting work?

Given a contact, their notes, their relationship type, and recent interactions, Orbit drafts a short personal message you can copy, tweak, or send. You can also save reusable templates for common outreach patterns.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your contacts, notes, and interactions are scoped to your account with row-level security. Nothing is shared with other users. Gmail tokens are encrypted at rest.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. From Settings you can disconnect Gmail and delete your account, which removes all your contacts, notes, and tokens.
